~Jewelry Info~
I have included the following information because I feel that is it very important. When I
purchase something, I personally like to know just what I am buying, and I’m sure you do too!

Beads and components used are USA made, and imported.
Most of the beads are completely hand-made, one at a time, by amazing and talented glass
artists and silversmiths.
Many of these beads are, by themselves, individual works of art.

Most of the ornate Sterling Silver beads that I use originate from Bali, Indonesia.
Many of the beads are made using techniques that have been passed down from one generation
to the next, resulting in some of the finest detailed beads available.
Through my designs, I am proud to help support their rich, cultural heritage.

~Artisan Lampwork Beads~
All lampwork beads are artisan made, by self-representing glass artists, and have been
properly  cleaned and annealed for strength and durability.
Please be aware that all lampwork beads are not alike!
There are many mass produced beads available, please do not be misled or confused, they are
NOT the same quality of the lampwork beads offered by self representing artists and you will
NOT find mass produced lampwork beads used in my designs.

Although I personally have never had any lampwork beads break, please keep in mind that they
are glass, dropping them on a hard surface, or extreme temperature changes could result in
breakage. Breakage of any glass object could pose a risk for injury.

Unless otherwise noted, all photos of Boro Lampwork beads were taken indoors with bright,
halogen lighting. Under lower lighting, Boro beads will appear much darker.
However, when viewed in the full sunlight, these beads simply explode with color, and shine as
if brought to life!

~Swarovski Crystals~
The journey through the world of Swarovski crystals, whether researching new or vintage
beads, can prove to be very interesting. I am not an expert, but truly enjoy the learning process.
If you see the initials AB in the description text, this means that the described bead has an
Aurora Boreale or an iridescent type finish. The manufacturer will add this type of finish to
reflect the light and give a shimmer effect; it may be applied to the entire bead, or just a
portion of the bead.
Vintage crystals can originate from uncirculated stock, or from vintage beaded jewelry finds.
When I use vintage crystals, I will specify which case applies.

~Choking Hazard~
Small beads and components could present a choking hazard for children.
Children should always be supervised while wearing or handling small parts.

~Treatments & Enhancements~
Whether you are purchasing from me or anyone else, please know that many of the gemstones
and beads available have been at some point, professionally treated to enhance their color,
luster, or their appearance in some way.
This is a traditional and common practice in the gem and jewelry industry. For the most part,
these treatments are permanent, some however are not, for best results, please have all items
professionally cleaned, or use a mild, trusted cleaning solution, following manufactures
instructions.

~Tender Loving Care~
To extend the life and luster of your jewelry, please keep in mind the following hints:
Avoid repeated exposure to water.
Avoid any exposure to salt or chlorinated water.
Avoid exposure to hairspray, perfumes, detergents, and household or industrial cleaning
solutions.
Sterling silver, when exposed to light and air, will naturally tarnish.
To help slow this process, I include with every purchase a zip lock style jewelry storage baggie
that includes a 3M Anti-tarnish square..
After wearing jewelry, wipe with a slightly damp, soft cloth, then lightly buff with a soft, dry
cloth.
As with all fine jewelry, have items professionally checked and cleaned once a year, or as
necessary.
